Lightweight Insulated Construction Block
INSUBLOCK is the ultimate solution for efficient and durable construction. Manufactured from high-quality treated EPS polystyrene, aggregates, geopolymer binder, Portland cement and innovative additives, INSUBLOCK offers superior thermal and acoustic insulation, exceptional durability, and fire resistance — all while being ultra-lightweight for easy handling and fast installation.
Unlike conventional blocks, INSUBLOCK eliminates the need for specialised adhesives. Simply stack and secure using standard mortar or INSUMORTAR for an energy-efficient building process. Its unique design integrates insulation directly into the block structure, providing consistent whole-wall thermal performance.
Recommended for: External and internal walls for residential buildings, villas, apartments, offices, hotels and commercial structures in Oman. Designed primarily for non-load-bearing applications. If intended for load-bearing use, consult your structural consultant to evaluate performance and the required design method.

Application
How to Install
Set out the wall layout on a clean, level base. Ensure the foundation or floor slab is prepared and horizontal before commencing block work.
Apply a bed of INSUMORTAR (recommended) or standard mortar to the base course. INSUMORTAR eliminates thermal bridges at the joints for optimal wall performance.
Place INSUBLOCK in a running-bond pattern. No specialised adhesives are required. Blocks are lightweight (12–15 kg) and easy to handle and align.
Rake joints and apply INSUPLAST or standard render to achieve a finished wall surface with additional insulation.
