Product Overview
INSUPLAST is a ready-to-use dry-mix plaster with an average density of 350 kg/m³ and a thermal conductivity of 0.059 W/mK. It combines pretreated EPS beads, aggregates, geopolymers, unique additives and Portland cement to deliver a highly insulating, decorative finish for building facades, interior walls and ceilings.
Unlike complex multi-layer EIFS systems, INSUPLAST is applied using traditional plastering techniques — making it the fastest and most cost-effective insulation method for contractors. It creates a solid, continuous thermal bridge-free layer that bonds directly to masonry, eliminating the risk of hollow spots or layer separation. Thicknesses range from 2 cm up to 20 cm, allowing whole-wall U-Values to be precisely controlled through the applied thickness.
Recommended for: External and internal thermal insulation for walls and ceilings. Refurbishment of old buildings to improve energy efficiency. Compatible with stone cladding, heavy textures and various paints.
Why Choose INSUPLAST
Unlike complex multi-layer EIFS systems, INSUPLAST is applied using traditional plastering techniques — the fastest, most cost-effective and reliable insulation method for contractors.
Contributes to the reduction of sound transmission through walls, creating a more peaceful living and working environment for residents and occupants.
Compatible with stone cladding, heavy textures and various paints — unlike EIFS which requires specific thin-coat finishes, INSUPLAST does not limit façade design choices.
Creates a solid, continuous thermal bridge-free layer bonded directly to masonry, eliminating the risk of hollow spots or layer separation common with board insulation systems.
U-Value is varied and controlled through the applied thickness (2–20 cm), giving designers and engineers flexibility to meet specific energy performance targets.
Non-combustible and engineered to withstand extreme temperatures and humidity of GCC's climate for long-term, safe performance.
Minimises energy consumption by improving the building’s thermal envelope, reducing carbon footprint and operating costs over the building’s lifetime.
Long-term assurance for thermal insulation performance — backed by MCP’s commitment to quality and sustainable construction.
Engineered for wall insulation performance in Oman.

Application
Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and structurally sound. Apply a bonding primer on very smooth or non-absorbent surfaces. Lightly dampen absorbent substrates before application.
Add the dry mix to clean water and mix with a paddle mixer or rendering machine until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved. Follow the water:powder ratio in the TDS.
Apply using a steel trowel or rendering machine in layers up to 20 mm per coat. Build up to the required total thickness (2–20 cm). Scratch each layer before applying the next.
Finish with a wooden float. Can be directly overcoated with a putty layer as part of the painting process. Protect from direct sun and rain for 24 hours after application.
